CANnual Report is the annual publication of weCAN, and it includes the most comprehensive and recent data, analyses and consumer trends of the advertising and media markets of the Central Eastern European region. It reveals how each country’s political, economic and social processes affect the local advertising industry and media landscape, while each year it appears with a completely new design, corresponding to the theme of the given year.
The CANnual Report 2021 examines the impacts of the coronavirus on the CEE media markets while it would analyse parallel phenomena from previous crises on a global or local scale. Throughout the report events of the last 14 years are presented that created an unstable situation in the local media market, also focusing on how the unfolding COVID-19 crisis affected advertising markets in the region.
